Pressure Sensitive Paint and Other Methods

Dr Gregory's research can be categorized into two broad areas within experimental aerodynamics: advanced measurement techniques and flow control.  Work with advanced measurement techniques has primarily involved the development of pressure-sensitive paint for unsteady measurements.  Work in the area of flow control has focused on the development of novel flow control actuators, with an emphasis on understanding and exploiting the underlying physics.  Several projects within these broad areas are discussed on the pages linked to the right.  Furthermore, lists of publications and data animations are listed below.
